We understand this stage of life can be an extremely difficult time for these boys, while being faced with new daily challenges.
This is why we have created the Boys to Gentlemen mentoring program, to help guide young males through their youth.
Our goal is to develop skills in all areas of life while focusing on the importance of health & wellbeing!
We incorporate goal setting in areas that both the parents and children want to focus on.
This can be personal goals, NDIS goals, skills that need to be developed or areas that these boys excel
in which we can continue to push for success.
Throughout this program we will spend a majority of our time doing enjoyable activities out in the community.
The time spent together with their mentor is to build trust & create a bond strong enough
for the boys to be able to speak freely about their challenges & emotions so that we can provide strategies
to overcome these situations.
Our mentoring services are available remotely, bringing the convenience of a personalized experience to your doorstep.
We understand the busy schedules of young people and are able to schedule appointments during school hours,
before and after school hours, or any other time that works best for you and your family.
Additionally, for your peace of mind, we offer pick-up and drop-off services after the initial meet and greet.

Brother 2 Brother Mentor programs are designed as a three-way partnership between the mentee, parent and mentor in providing a support system that enables the mentee to successfully navigate the challenges of being an African American male youth. Brother 2 Brother Mentor programs empower at-risk African American male youth between the crucial ages of 11 to 18 with core programs focused on leadership development, academic excellence, spiritual growth, community service, career exploration and life skills.

*During the year, Brother 2 Brother Mentor members may participate in monthly faith based visitations, educational tutorial programs, Project, College Prep Workshops, developmental programs, community projects and social activities (bowling, paintball, professional basketball, and football games) Character building activities, Guest speakers, Father & Son workshops, breakfast and luncheons. Brother 2 Brother Mentor activities are designed to develop the whole person.

One-Time Registration Fee $50.00

Potential members will be interviewed by Brother 2 Brother Mentor committee members for entry into the program.

The members attend regular meetings twice a month where they participate in career planning, goal setting, listen to guest speakers, and discussion of problems and issues.

Parent(s) or guardian must accompany individual.

Potential members are required to submit an application for entry into Brother 2 Brother Mentor.

Brother 2 Brother Mentor members will participate in team building/bonding activities.

1st meeting of the month, Brother 2 Brother Mentor will be in (Brother 2 Brother Mentor t-shirt).

2nd meeting will require (Brother 2 Brother Mentor polo shirt, black or khaki long pants).

All Brother 2 Brother Mentor members are required to participate in all community service projects.

Brother 2 Brother Mentor members can only miss 3 meetings total for the year.
